How to buy items on the Minecraft Marketplace
Marketplace content such as adventure maps, texture pack and skin packs can all add a new look and feel to the world of Minecraft and create exciting adventures for players to explore.
Purchasing this vast array of content is exceptionally easy and, once purchased, it’s yours to play whenever and wherever you’d like, no additional payments and no time limits.
1. Open Minecraft and sign into your Xbox live account
This is an important step to make sure that your content is linked to your Minecraft account, not your device.
As long as you login before you make your purchase, you’ll be able to use it no matter where you log in.
2. Find a piece of content you want to buy
Click the Store button to head over to the Minecraft Marketplace to see all of the content available to download!
There are over 1,000 skin packs, maps and textures for you to choose from, with new content added every week.
3. Make your payment
Players can pay using Minecoins, the Marketplace’s virtual currency which is connected to your Minecraft account, or via your device’s app store which purchases the Minecoin bundle needed to redeem the item that you’d like to buy.
Any leftover Minecoins from the transaction are then added to your virtual wallet.
4. Wait for the purchase to complete
This should only take a few moments depending on your internet connection.
5. Enjoy your content
Once the purchase has gone through, maps and texture packs should automatically start to download, ready to be played, and skins are instantly available to players to wear.
When a world is ready to play, click the Create this World! button to start playing!
